Meghan Jones has always been an artist, but thought she couldn’t grow up to be a scientist because she wasn’t very good at math. Then one day when she had kept art and science separate for 41 years, a deep sea professor shared some photos with her, and she fell madly in love with the deepest watery places on earth. Now Meghan uses her Bachelor of Fine Arts to paint deep ocean habitats; to show others how beautiful the organisms are, and help the rest of the world fall in love too.

Meghan is a mom to 4 children, 4 cats and 2 dogs. She dreams of visiting Antarctica, loves to work in her veggie garden, and her favorite sea creature is a cusk eel- what’s yours?
